Chemical Disaster

 

I think most of us assume that whatever food is on the grocery store shelves is safe to east. That’s not necessarily so now.  Enforcement of the EPA regulations intending to protect us from foods that are not safe to eat are being removed. That makes what to buy and eat and what not to buy and eat more problematic than it should be. My comments, afterward, should help.

Hungry Americans

Well, starvation in the so-called “developing countries” has finally reached our shores. However, the developing countries don’t produce sufficient food to satisfy their population’s needs. We do. In fact, we produce a surplus, which we send to other countries. Growing up in inner-city Detroit, I knew my family wasn’t wealthy. Movies such as “Rudy” depicted families working hard in low-income industrial settings. But we had food. Having neighboring families face hunger is embarrassing and heartless.
